Join Rabbi Basik for informal learning in the comfort of Kol HaLev member's homes. Curriculum ranges from culture to current events affecting Jews to Jewish views on given subjects. Discussion generates reflection and sharing intended to deepen knowledge of Judaism and the experience of the world as Jews.

“Beyond the Seder Plate”
Join us on Sunday, March 14th, 10:00am, for a look at some lesser-known texts and some interesting questions that take our exploration of Passover a bit deeper.
“Did the Israelites bring idols with them out of Egypt?” “Who, exactly, was ‘redeemed,’ and why?”
Such questions go to the nature of the link between God and Israel. What can we say about the Shekhinah,the Divine Presence?
