Elise Saltzberg will discuss Jewish Superstition.

 

Saturday, March 9, 7:30 p.m. KHL room. Elise Saltzberg will lead an interactive discussion on Jewish Superstitions. Much of her material will be based on Joshua Trachtenberg's book, Jewish Magic and Superstition: A Study in Folk Religion, which was first published in 1939. Come learn how to avert the Evil Eye and deceive the Angel of Death. Come share your own family's legends and bubbe-meises. Pooh-pooh-pooh!
