Kol HaLev Social Action Committee: Mission Statement
 In keeping with the values stated in Kol Halev’s mission statement, the Kol Halev Social Action Committee has been formed to promote social justice by working with interfaith, service, and community organizations to address human needs. The mission of this committee is to provide the Kol HaLev community with opportunities to engage in Tikkun Olum (repairing the world). Our focus is to build bridges with local communities from whom we often remain segregated and partner with other groups who share our goals.

Social Action Committee Goals:
To engage in humanitarian projects that have the greatest potential of connecting the entire Kol Halev community;
To participate in short term projects that target and directly benefit communities around us;
To partner with existing interfaith, service, and community initiatives; and
To devote our energy and resources toward the long term objective of building and organizing a community of volunteers.

Are you interested in contributing to "Tikkun Olam" (the healing of the world?)

The Kol HaLev Social Action Committee is looking for members of all ages to participate in projects ranging from clothing and shoe drives to building a Habitat for Humanity House.

Please contact Jill Yesko at (410) 664 1063 or jreyesko@yahoo.com for details.
