In person & online (hybrid)
Shabbat morning at Kol HaLev is musical, interactive, and deeply participatory.
We weave singing, thoughtful discussion, and Torah study into a service that invites both heart and mind. The weekly Torah portion guides our exploration — shaping our questions, intentions, and reflections as we look closely at both the Siddur and the Torah text itself. Our prayer rises not only from the page, but from conversation, insight, and lived experience.
Following services, we gather for a small kiddush and conversation, often accompanied by additional programming. Please bring a snack to share.
Services are held in person at the Church of the Holy Comforter Chapel and online. Please check our calendar for up-to-date details. after morning services with interesting and timely programming afterwards. Please bring a snack to share.
Our monthly Torah service is intentional and inclusive. Aliyot are distributed thoughtfully, often reflecting themes of the weekly portion and inviting participants into meaningful connection with the text.
Once a month, a portion of our Shabbat morning service turns inward through guided meditation and contemplative Torah practice.
Contemplative Shabbat invites stillness, spaciousness, and deep listening — creating an opportunity to experience Torah not only as text, but as inner landscape. Please check the calendar for scheduling details.
